Why can't the Railway board build 1 or 2 pit lines at the Railway coach factory site at kurnool.
Any how kurnool is going to become a terminal station after the formation of SCoR

Why are you linking a CMLR center to a coach factory buddy? Both are completely different...
Namaste sir krnt_vskp_express~ anna already explained both are different, in this blog.
Why not? Kakinada is of the same size as KURNOOL. But still there are trains to Mumbai, Bhavanagar etc from such city. And all these trains from Kakinada have to pass through Vijayawada Junction.
Similar could be done with Kurnool if and only if we pressurize our mp and drm Hyderabad and gm scr

Kakinada is a terminus. So are MTM and NS. Termini are convenient points to handle originating trains, and that's why SCR prefers running trains from these places.
KRNT is neither a junction, nor a terminal. So, long distance originating trains are unlikely. It will be similar to Nellore/Rajahmundry/Ongole/Cuddapah etc - will have some originating trains, but will not be a preferred originating point for long distance trains.
