Deadlines for Betgara-Gumanihat and Teesta Bridge is not changed
So lets hope for 2nd Teesta Rail bridge inauguration by Feb atleast

2021 will be important year for NFR. Many new line and patch doubling works will be completed. a good news for NE people
No work done on doubling of Bongaigaon-Rangiya section although it doesn't require any land acquisition. This should be one of the priority sections.
Initially this was not in the plan for doubling by the NFR probably or they make it less priority but in the year 2019 The Cabinet Committee of Economic Affair approved this project . Hence it is crawling . But if you follow the NFR construction website in last updates they put some data there - like phases , target etc. so from this we can assume they will start it by starting month of 2021.
