Now, SWR should extend few Mysore and Tumkur originating trains which terminate at SBC/ YPR upto Airport.
Mysore side trains can go via Cantonment. Tumkur side train can take loco reversal at YPR.

Also, one DMM to BWT fast passenger via YNK, Airport, Kolar can be thought of. Entirely SWR territory. So no issues.
One Hassan to airport via BYPL can be introduced. Advantage being no loco reversal at YPR and connection to East Bangalore.

I think there is a line capacity issue and terminal constraints and hence no of services are kept at 5 in each direction.
If it gathers interest amongst passengers then SWR will work on increasing the same...

YNK and Devanahalli can be developed. YNK to DHL hardly any trains. YNK TO KJM there is no problem. KJM to Whitefield getting 4 lines. If a bypass line is laid to link BYPL to YPR line with YPR YNK line, it will augment the capacity.
