irifan2015~ 2474 blog postsThis train takes 1-1/2 hours to cover KJM to YPR!!. It will crawl/ halt enroute and block platform at YPR. On one side, we are saying that there is congestion in and around Bangalore and no new train can be introduced, but on the other hand, trains are made to wait/ halt for hours in the area!!. Unable to understand the logic.
From DR to TEN/PDY, train is speeded up till UBL. Reaches UBL almost 70 min before ( 1 hr 10 min approx) but still ends up reaching YPR at the old time .... !! Absolutely no speed up despite speed upgradation and doubling in this stretch
In CR stretch, it is speeded up. Faster than KSK in Pune to Hubli.
In SWR area -- Miraj to Salem/ Jolarpettai -- 950/ 880 kms, no speed up.
One more thing to note: Thirunelveli Chalukya runs on the days CSTM NCJ via KPD express is running with a gap of 45 minutes. Puducherry Chalukya runs on same days CSTM NCJ Via RU is running.
