Let Chalukya terminate at YPR/ SNC/ SMVB with 19-20 hours journey time. SR can run their trains from Bangalore to TEN/ PDY at their convenient timings.
None of the Bangalore Mumbai trains are convenient. Udyan is a crawler both ways. LTT CBE is slowest train in DMM SBC sector and in return direction, wastes both days. Chalukya inconvenient arrival/ departure timings at YPR.

TEN, MDU have 6 days a week trains (NCJ CSTM) to Mumbai. Coimbatore, Erode, Salem have a daily train to Mumbai. What is the need of Chalukya for these locations?
If it is felt for connecting north Karnataka and southern Maharashtra, both PDY and TEN trains can go via RU, GTL, BAY, UBL. Why to distrub a Bangalore train?
