Why do common people cannot book tatkal ticket?
Tatkal Quota of Darjeeling Mail in sl class is139
But at 8:10 today i could not book a single ticket why?

#Suggest a seperate tatkaal quota for online booking for individuals only.
#Suggest that the seats should be locked up immediatly after selection/or clicking payment button. If the payment is not complete within 2-3 min. the seats should be released to next booking.

i dont understand the reason for so fast filling up of tatkal quotas in each nd every train and almost in all classes
There are thousands of people deciding to travel at the LAST minute and thethere are thousands of booking counters along with online bookings, hence we may not always be lucky to get the online tatkal tickets. Also we cannot ignore some unauthorised booking by unauthorised agents who work with the great cooperation of railway officials!
1.I think Online Tatkal Booking should not exist. Only Counter tatkal should exist.
2. There Should be Station quota in tatkal tickets at important stations.

Tatkal quota is therefore being a substantial part of total booking i dont think that online booking must be cancelled for tatkal
