Sampark kranti are just a version of SF category trains connecting various towns of a state to Delhi. There are examples of SK trains starting from other than state capitals. TN SK starts from Madurai. APSK starts from Tirupati and does not touch the state capital!. Even we have KSK from Bangalore to Chandigarh which goes beyond Delhi.

Agree Here few are thinking that Sampark kranti is equal to Duronto & Raj.
Sampark kranti is just a Superfast series train Introduce by another RM same like ( Jan Sadharan Express, Kavi Guru Express,Mahamana Express, Swarna Jayanti Express,Vivek Express) etc.

Ap stops and sleeper added as compensation for dakshin vskp link exp that's a known fact.To make dakshin 130 with lhb they cancelled slip and made AP has 2 night train with early morning arrival which vskp didn't had .In. Compensation they gave vskp kcg and for the link exp travelers they gave AP with sleeper class
Sampark kranti given to serve states with national capital,you can see halts for ksk apsk tnsk inside there states and outside there states ,They will be having halt on big station's only outside there state
