And there is the other extreme case 06315- MYS-KCVL Express, which always ends up reaching SBC at 15:30, 1 hour before time on daily basis and ends up occupying one platform till its scheduled dep of 16:50. Almost 80-90 minutes stoppage on daily basis. If they could delay its departure from MYS it would make sense. One PF in SBC ends up occupied unnecessarily for such a long time
KCVL MYS should be extended to Mangalore with TT something like this: SBC arr 0800; MYS arr 1030 dep 1045; HAS arr/ dep 1245/1300; SBHR 1645; MAQ are 1900. Return MAQ dep 0600 SBHR 0745; HAS 1130; MYS 1330/1345; SBC arr 1630.
This will give better connection and utilisation. SBC/ MYS get a day time connection to Mangalore. There is no platform problem at MAQ at these timings.
