The 79km stretch from Indore(INDB)-Ujjain(UJN) is now electrified single line.What is the use of making it electrified?
(1) To conserve excess use of natural resources( diesel Loco).
(2) To reduce the pollution made by diesel Loco.
(3) To increase the speed of the train.

Loco change time will be saved at UJN. The trains going towards Nagda can have a 5 min halt at UJN.
Electrification of the section will eventually help in reducing the travel time on the section.

a section between these two stations needs to repair currently train running at speed of 30kmph.
But this reduction of time at NAGDA / UJJAIN junctions does not lead to reduction of travel time between ujjain and indore stretch.As most of the trains between Ujjain and Indore takes the same time as it was before.
