Misleading title. Vetanvriddhi par rok lagana means the person won't be getting any increment. Certainly he would be paid the salary. Moreover, all this because he disobeyed and still went on a leave is somewhat justified.
His present salary is intact, only the annual increment, which is about 3-4% of basic salary or about 1-2% of total salary shall be stopped that too for 3 years from 4th yr. increment shall be given.
