Southern railway has notified of merging of TN-12683/12684 ERS-BAND-ERS(Bi-weekly) SF EXP (current TN-06129/06130 ) and TN-22607/22608 ERS-BAND-ERS weekly SF EXP (current TN-06161/06162)and operating the merged service as Tri-weekly service. Details are as under. click here

It is better to run upto Davangere. Lot of Kerala students are studying in Tumkur and Davangere colleges. Will benefit them. Four and half hours journey. So can leave BAND and reach DVG by 0900. Can start back by 1400 and reach BAND by 1830 and proceed to ERS.
