Detailed construction progress Update for PF4 and PF5 at Muzaffarpur Jn.
As evident from the pics, almost 50% of civil work is done. Central FOB has been connected to the new platform, and other FOB is left out. A third new FOB is under construction as well, whose pillars have been laid down.
The remaining civil work is for PF shed construction. After that, passenger amenities such as benches, taps, lighting, fans, PA system will be installed.

Waah, finally it's happening. Now I hope ECR would stop making excuses about platform unavailability and some new trains to important destinations like Hyderabad might get started.
They have another excuse already. MFP has severe Pitlines constraints, hence Sonpur Division is originating new trains from Barauni. Don't expect any ECR based train from MFP, although trains with Platform turn-around still might be possible.
Kuch nahi milega, Patna Darbhanga Chhapra Barauni Raxaul Spj Gaya etc and many more stations se Hyderabad ka train hai and none go via MFP.
