** We can expect a large number of fully AC 160kmph trains on NDLS-BCT/HWH routes by 2024/25. and on NDLS-MAS, CSTM-HWH/MAS routes by 2030/31 if all go as per IR plans.
** In the long run IR plans to replace non ac coaches with economy AC coaches and wants to shift all non AC class pax to travel in AC economy class
** But if IR Economy fare means just 8% discount over normal AC3 fare in lieu of cramped accommodation, this plan of IR is 100% guaranteed to fail.
