You'll get direct buses from Sevoke More,Siliguri for that getting down at SIliguri Jn will be more convenient option for you to reach Rangpo....Or if you can take a bit risk then you can probably get down at Sevoke which is around 21 kms from Siliguri Jn...From Sevoke Sikkim Rd & Rangpo is at walkable distance....

Actually Sevoke is such a station where most of the Up Trains generally stop for Crossing or LC/Unlock...So if you can take a bit risk then Sevoke otherwise my suggestion would be Siliguri Town/Siliguri Jn..From Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand just outside SGUJ,you'll get buses/matadors for all the uphill destinations

BTPN Crossing at Sevoke is normal...so mostly Ranchi Kamkhya will stop there...
