Kcg - Dhone section maximum speed limit is 110kmph right??
I have seen WDP4D and other diesel locos achieving speed upto 105kmph in this section.Even if electrification is done maximum speed limit will be 110 kmph only right??
Or will the average speed increase after electrification??

I was asking this because even Guntur - Secunderabad section is just similar to Kacheguda - Dhone section. And the train Vijayawada - Lingampalli Intercity Express travels about 281 km in 3:55 minutes. Also SECUNDERABAD - VISHAKHAPATTANAM AC DURONTO travels via Guntur. Where as Kacheguda- Kurnool City is just 236 km and the fastest train takes 4 hours in this section. Atleast one fast train which could take around 3 - 3.5 hours must have been in this section as presently people prefer road route to Hyderabad as it takes just 3 - 3.5 hours where as a train takes 4-5 hours.
And as far as I have heard Vijayawada - Lingampalli is a train with full occupancy especially during weekends.

Vijayavaada - lingampalli train gets preference with respect to other trains in terms of crossings and overtakes
If you compare single track with double track, you are prone to find these results!!
many trains in the kcg-krnt route have ~3:30 hours runtime which is pretty good actually.
SCR is doing massive manned crossing elimination in the mbnr-gadwal stretch , that's why you may see some delays but soon you should see good performance. For example, today I have traveled in tungabhadra and it took around 4 hours in between KRNT- malakpet despite multiple works enroute.

EMD locos including WDP4D can do speeds as high as 130kph. It has already been done check on YouTube.
So WAP7 will accelerate faster compared to EMD but top speed won't be any different.
