From SBC side, it can start by 1000 SA 1415 CBE 1630, ERS 2030.
Advantages include excellent morning and connection from ERS to PGT/ CBE. Also early arrival at SBC will help public reaching their destination within Bangalore or catching connecting trains to Hubli side. Same way late departure from Bangalore will be beneficial.

Agree. SWR is not doing justice to HSRA DPJ section. Better some realignment of zones/ division take place. SWR should handover HSRA to Omalur to SR and takeover MAQ and surrounding areas from SR. Win win for both
Agreed. But there is no proper intercity type train connecting Ernakulam and Coimbatore. There should be an early morning train starting at ERS by 0615-0630 and reach CBE by 1000. Return there should be a train from CBE by around 1730-1800 to reach ERS by 2130-2200.
Yes there is no connectivity for that they can introduce an exclusive intercity bewteen ERS and Salem. There is no need to distrub the timings of already running sucessfull trains from many years.
Yes for long there has been demand for ERS Salem intercity express in morning & return in evening. Just one rake required
Also, it would be nicer if it is been provided with LHB rakes.
