Pehle isi Route per Jan Shatabdi band hui thi ab Shatabdi shuru karne ki kavayad ho rahi hai
Erstwhile 2053/54 Ganga-Gomti Jah Shatabdi used to run via RBL-UCR-PFM route. But the proposed Shatabdi will run via RBL-AME-PBH-PFM route.
Also a Jan Shatabdi or Shatabdi from GKP to PRYJ via MUR-AY-AYC-SLN-PBH is demanded.

** Lucknow-Prayagraj Shatabdi means a big loss making proposition and wastage of precious line capacity.
** Intercities operating from Lucknow to destinations of eastern UP like Prayagraj and Varanasi are running with only one AC Chair Car coach and total 13-15 coaches which clearly indicates about low ac class traffic.
** For Shatabdies the fares shall be still higher and patronage even lower
