Whenever trees or plants come in the way of development, such projects need to obtain NOC from forest department.
And that is given only when either they need to transfer the trees or need to plant 4 times more then existing fated trees.

Implementation agencies are mostly lethargic in rowing trees in most of the cases and four times plantation exists in files only...
Also forest department is heckled most of the times by cabinet to compromise on relaxation terms and conditions to make way for cutting in the name of development.
