Already some progress is there in Shivamoggav-Shikaripura -Ranebennur line. From Shikaripura, instead of Ranebennur, line can go via Sirsi to Tadas/ Hubli. Instead of another line upto Talaguppa from Hubli, linking Talaguppa to Honnavara or anywhere to Konkan railway would be beneficial.
From Shivamogga also saw two line got sanctioned.
Shivamogga - Harihar 79 km
Shivamogga - Shiakripura - Ranebennur 89 km.
Don't know which will complete first.
