If i have to travel from HWH to YPR and i am not getting berth directly but berth is available from KGP.
What can be done in this situation?

Yes, possibly.
The statement is based on talk with TTE in UMB-DLI section:-
Had a ticket from UMB to ADI boarding at NDLS in 12476. Boarded at UMB. TTE advised to purchase a separate tkt from UMB to DLI, with the statement that 'passenger cannot travel on the portion, where BP change has occured. So, purchased a separate tkt.
