Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2446 blog postsHow crazy is to see that a awesome train has been slowed down by 8 hours 10 minutes UP AND DOWN ... Its so bad. Instead they could have made one of the other two sampark running via Pune to run via bellary , That would have made more sense.

I agree that there needs to be a new train in the same slot, but that may clash with KSK as that joins the same route from Pendekallu. If a new train starts in same old KSK slot, it can run via GTL, Wadi... but Kurnool will be missed.
Hope SCR/SWR creates a new slot and they can use Raichur-Gadwal route also if possible.

No issues, existing ksk can be rerouted via RC-vkb and new train can be run via dmm-kcg
Problem with current KSK is the originating point and route. If same KSK originates from Mysore and goes via HAS ASK UBL BAY KCG, still it can do some justice. Atleast Bangalore platforms become free for starting a new train in shorter route.
totally agree , they could havs started a new train from mys and in the route ask-ubl-bay-rc which can cover entire KA instead of ruining this super hit train
