When the Ernakulam -Bangalore group of trains got terminated at Banaswadi, for a couple of months I remember that due to some passenger protests etc, the local MLA did try to get some mini buses from Banaswadi to Shivajinagar based on arrival time of trains in the morning. It was an absolute failure since the buses couldnt come close to the station !!!!.
Roads are narrow for Buses towards Banaswadi Station.
Also Banaswadi station is hidden in popular residential area.

My suggestions:
1. Shift SBC CAPE daily Island express to YPR and route it via SMVB. This will free up one platform for a Bangalore to Mumbai SF in those Platform slot.
2. Introduce a SMVB BIDR SF daily via KLBG.
3. Run MAS UBL trains via SMVB YPR bypass and speed up by another 1 hour minimum.

1. There should be a clear policy on allowing non SWR / non Karnataka trains to SBC during peak hours (1800-2300 and 0400-0900). Something like one train from SBC, second at YPR and third from SMVB.
2. SWR trains to Karnataka should get originated from SBC instead of from YPR/ SMVB ( Like YPR BIDR, YPR KAWR).
3. Solapur SF should originate from SBC and it's Hassan extension to be discontinued.

Rake is SWR and at the same time BZA division not accepted to take maintenance.And also it has RSA with BZA-UBL-SBC trains
