Pragadeesh - You are comparing Shatabdi with SF trains. Each train category are meant for certain section of peoples.
Guy travelling in 2S in Brindavan will not got for Shatabdi unless and until due to some other force(No tickets and its very urgent to travel etc). Shatabdi will not be his daily cup of Tea. There can be some transistion between CC to Shatabdi.
In the case of TVC SF Mail and Anatapuri they both are more or less similar. Off late Anatapuri is temp augumented more and that too with AC Coaches...

Once it is made SF TVC people will prefer Anatapuri since it will travel soon with less cost for the same comfort.
Anatapuri can reach TVC in 13 Hrs against 16 Hrs taken by TVC mail post track doubling.
Currently both train starts at more or less same time and also reaches more or less same time. Both have the same class of travel. Starting Jan 1st around 7 stops have been removed for Anatapuri. You can take this as a precursor to make this train as SF soon.
Can you tell me one good reason for TVC pax to prefer TVC Mail if Anantapuri takes 2 hrs less to reach the same destination with less cost for the same class of journey? Could be due to fanatics?
One important factor for people to prefer Kaveri express is they can have a nice sleep to reach Bangalore. But still Bangalore Mail is more preferred over Kaveri in this section since it take less time to cover the distance.
