This is PANDIT DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAY - SONNAGAR section in UP - BIHAR region.
Already a triple electric railway line exists there + a double electric DFC railway line. 5 fully electric railway lines. And here we are still struggling with a single diesel line. Agree that the region is subjected to coal fields but still do we deserve a single diesel line.

Although comparison with grand chord cant be justified but this line also deserves to be doubled

but fyi just look at the pic. There are 5 tracks but there are also 5 freights simultaneously on them.
Railways is politicsed, fully agree.
But unsatisfaction is everywhere.

DHN-KTH line is actually 142 years old. And DHN-SNDT line still had semaphores till last year. This is the status of ECR DHN Division.
Comparisons is being drawn after "5th" electric railway line was being laid sir. We never said anything when the line was doubled, tripled, quadrapled. Are we people and the resources here are looking so much so useless that a single diesel line is being made for adjustment and another region is getting 5 electric railway lines?
If you are talking about alternatives I have attached a picture.You can see almost all Double electric railway line there. So there wasn't a need of DFC if already "alternative" was there. Even now we aren't asking for 5 lines sir. We are just asking a DOUBLE ELECTRIC RAILWAY LINE for a distance of 183 km so that Banglore gets closer to Delhi, UP, MP,...
