This is PANDIT DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAY - SONNAGAR section in UP - BIHAR region.
Already a triple electric railway line exists there + a double electric DFC railway line. 5 fully electric railway lines. And here we are still struggling with a single diesel line. Agree that the region is subjected to coal fields but still do we deserve a single diesel line.

Unfair comparison. The Grand Chord is the most congested rail line in the country.
The section you just mentioned DDU-SEB has a goods train passing either up/down almost every 2 minutes. Now add the passenger load too.
In contrast how congested is DHNE-KRNT-KCG-SC line ?
Already another FEDL line (longer route) present between GTL and SC present via WADI-VKB-LPI.
