The Final Location survey was sanctioned to construct 3rd and 4th lines between NLPD - GNT - KCC. Already NLPD - GTL doubling works is going on. On the other hand, DPR was sent to the RB to doubling NLPD - PGDP doubling.If DPR approves the doubling of NLPD - PGDP doubling in the next budget, the doubling work of this route will start. If the doubling of both routes is completed, the goods train will increased heavily.Most of these goods train goes in BZA route. So in view of future requirements tt has been decided to construct two more lines (3rd, 4th) NLPD - GNT - KCC 33 KMS.
