After a long expectations, the day(29/09/2012) came to experience the Toy train ride from MTP to UAM which didn’t disappointed us. Though our FC tickets didn’t get CNF,the 2S tickets got CNF for the same day and we were lucky enough to get accommodated in FS1,since 5 passengers in FS1 didnt joined on that day. 2 nd sitting arrangement in FS1 and D2 are almost same as the FC. But the seating arrangement in D2 is like same as govt.bus. There is no proper legroom.
We arrived at MTP station at 06.30 am by car and were overwhelmed to see the steam engine if NMR. Passengers were running behind the TTE to accommodate them too in the ride,who was helpless to...

Two more coaches are going to be added to train from MTP by next month. The TTE told me that the coaches are ready at ED and waiting for the permission.
I too had the same doubt,But they told me that the locos are modified now. I couldnt ask the Loco pilot about the details.
