Why not from kolhapur.blame it on poor infra at kop station.miraj get this train because available of stabling line,platform,etc.overall this is only for karnataka.no big station ahead of belgaum till miraj.so miraj is starting station.

mrj is an added advantage as it ll be continuity for passengers towards mumbai and KOP will make it a lenghty route to do so...
