A memorable ride, on one of the very few Meter Gauge Vistadome coach, everything is a breeze in the face except the awkward timings of this train.

I have wanted to travel in this train or even in the MG train from Mailani to Bahraich. I think it is the last remaining proper stretch in UP [Correct me if I am wrong]. But I would need to go up from Lucknow to Mailani a day earlier to catch this train in the early morning.
Instead of going to MLN prior, take any train in midnight till GD from LKO and board 05371 from GD to BRK.
MLN is a remote area and do not have any hotels where you can stay.

Yes, I had explored this option before and thought it is the best thing to do. Gonda also has retiring rooms, I think, as well. Mailani is desolate at night.
Yes reach Gonda in evening time, book a room and take rest.
