If this is the case, I think it's high time IR considers the merger of SECR into another zone like ECOR, SCR or any other zones. What are the zonal officers who enjoy VIP privileges and salaries doing? Is there no accountability for these officers. IR wants to privatize and downsize, they should clearly start from the top.
