coimbatoreshatabdi~ 34 blog postsThis train is really in need of another AC Chair Car coach for the distance and route it travels through and to cater for a lot of passengers along the way.
I will rather say that this route deserves a Shatabdi Express with a 9 hr schedule (Triweekly to Start with) and with VB rake the Travel Time can further be reduced.
But don't you think they meet demands temporarily if they can add two more AC Chair Car coaches, since they should have spare ones after converting existing intercity trains to CBC/LHB rakes. And definitely shatabdi or jan shatabdi will be very successful too
Before Covid, this train did used to run with two AC chair car coaches C-1 & C-2. Once it resumed , they have just continued with one AC chair car only. Not sure what is the reason for the same. They should restore back the original coach composition
SR can introduce a Kozhikode Bangalore SMVB inter city which can arrive at SMVB by 5:30 in the evening and leave next day morning by 0900. Will help day time commuters.
