Dadu 302 blog postsUdyan express takes almost 9hrs to reach Banglore from Guntakal jn instead of running in this toute divert it via Ballari Chickjajur this route can be covered in 8hrs very easily.. 11302 ecpress taken around 6hrs10mints so it takes 1hrs 30mints extra which can be covered in between Guntakal and kalyan section..... Any suggestions please....

Even for less passenger trains the revenue from these passengers trains is much more than Davangere Tumkur Yelhanka and many other major staions of SWR
Yeah. BAY- HPT needs a mumbai connection badly. But Diverting Udyan dont think a good move.
As it is, Udyan is the only dedicated train between Mumbai and Bangalore. Slowdown in SBC GTL section is because SWR does not want this CR train early in SWR territory. Many trains overtake udyan in GTL SBC sector.
As far as Ballari is concerned, SWR should run a good train, instead of spoiling an existing train. Already they have spoiled KSK by diverting in zigzag route.
It is better to ask for a Bangalore Mumbai train via GTL BAY GDG BJP.

There is no speed increase in GTL SBC section though most section are already doubled. Why to spoil a good dedicated train though a slow crawler.
Forget Chitradurga connection with Mumbai. There is no proper train between Chitradurga with it's division HQ Mysore.
