It is not having stoppage at Ghaziabad so i need to find some alternative for travelling from Gaya to Ghaziabad.

You should be able to catch it. It usually departs RT from DDU and average delay at PRYJ is around 1 hour. So unless you are unlucky on that day, you should be able to board Prayagraj Express after having a good dinner at PRYJ.
Better to deboard at New Delhi and catch local.
