ANALYSIS of all stations on GKP LKO route

Domingarh: An outer station of GKP. Only passenger trains except for Krishak stops here.

Jagatbela: Standard two platform stations. Two express trains stop here.

Sahjanwa: Three platformed station. Few express trains stop here. Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority zone starts nearby. A looped line from here to Dohrighat has been in pipeline for FOUR decades.

Sihapar Halt: The worst station ever. For some reason, Krishak stops here.

Maghar: Site of Kabir Sthal next to the station. Though only passengers and couple of express stop here.

Khalilabad: First major station after GKP. Future Jn after railwork from Balrampur - KLD is completed.

Chureb, Munderwa, Orwara: Standard two platformed stations; only passengers stop here.

Basti: Most trains have a stoppage here. Equipped with lifts as well.

Govindnagar, Tinich, Gaur: Standard two platformed stations.

Babhnan: An intermediary station. Some express trains stop here. Distinctive for it's mill.

Parsa Tiwari: Useless station built for political reasons a decade back.

Babhan Jyotia: A halt station. Built a decade back for political reasons.

Chhapia: Nearest station to the famous Swami Narayan temple.

Maskanwa: Intermediary station. Few express trains stop here.

Lakhpat Nagar: Only passenger trains.

Mankapur Jn: First Junction on our list. Trains to Ayodhya diverge from here. Many trains stop here.

Jhilahi, Motiganj, Baruachak : Passenger stations towards Gonda.

Gonda : Nearly all trains stop here. Loop line to GKP and Bahraich cut from here. A loco shed exists as well.

Gonda Kutchery: Your train will stop here since controlling is shit of NER.

Kathola, Maijapur, Kasturi: Not proper stations. Low lying platforms. Only single passenger towards Sitapur stops here.

Colonelganj: Intermediary station, few stoppages.

Sarju: Crossing station

Jarwal Road: Few express trains stop here.

Ghaghra Ghat, Chowka Ghat : The famous Elgin Bridge exists between these two stations.

Burhwal Jn: Lines to Sitapur cut from here.

Bindaura, Rafinagar, Jahangirabad Raj: No Trains currently stop here since passenger services are discontinued.

Barabanki: Tracks from Ayodhya merge here. Many trains stop here. Lucknow City is expanding very fast towards here.

Safedabad: A Coca Cola factory nearby. Nothing else.

Juggar: A brand new expressway crosses this station. The station actually lies several metres below the track level.

Malhaor: Tracks of NR and NER diverge here.

Dilkusha Cabin: Bang your head since your trains will again be stopped here.

Lucknow NR: Final destination directly reached instead of looping around like the route to LJN.
