If BYPL bypass line is linked to SMVB terminal by way of a U or C type link line of 1 to 1.5 Kms, it can improve connectivity. Hosur line gets connected to YNK and KJM side without loco reversal.
For example, Hosur side to Chennai train can enter via Bypass link and go out via KJM. Hosur to DMM side train can enter via Bypass loopline and go out via YNK side.

It should be possible to take one overhead line connecting bypass line to SMVB.
If not, railways should try to give a link at Lottegollahalli. Here definitely a link line overhead type passing over the ORR flyover is possible.

Connecting Hebbal to YNK via LOGH loop is a good idea.
But railways has not got land parcels in that area to give the loop.
