Vivek is a Damp squib, Despite shorter route takes much more time than Swaraj and would never match upto the standards set by Swaraj,
Bdts-Cdg an alternative to Paschim is a bit better,
Ofcourse frequency of both trains will get increased in upcoming budget but Swaraj needs to be daily it is catering to so many people, I still remember words of my fellow passenger in Punjab Mail, He said "Swaraj is second Rajdhani" and i said yes i agree :)...

Viveks time can be shortened, and even if CDG -BDTS is made 4 times a week, it will cater to passengers till UMB of Swaraj Express.
Swaraj in numero Uno amongst M/E trains on Mumbai Delhi route, no doubt.

How? I mean rarely do halts get removed and route gets changed, Vivek's route doesn't cater to main line passengers like Swaraj
Bdts-Cdg also helps passengers upto UMB, LDH/JUC/CHKB passengers face shortage...
