Great Great Great Great Great Great Useful Great Great Great Great
Continuing my Journey in Vande Bharat Express (/blog/post/5717423), I caught this train to Delhi from Mumbai.
People always ask me "Why not take train for Delhi directly from Pune, I tell them to check timings and availability" 😂
Dinner was piping hot, not that good in taste though but decent enough in quality.
Catering guys were selling Soups for 30 Rupees, Good Quality

ready to make tea and Cup Maggie- good option for those who don't want to go for standard catering stuff.
Breakfast was of decent enough quality as well, loaded from Gwalior as per catering guy. If you like something extra, the catering guy agrees to it and then simply goes invisible. Staff used to be much more responsive and polite back then.
Got heavily regulated at Kalyan Junction. After Jalgaon I slept off due to upper berth and tiredness woke up after Agra. Train reached 10 Minutes before time at Hazrat Nizamuddin Station.

Hadapsar should have been developed for trains towards Lonavla & Shivaji Nagar/Pimpri/Chinchwad for trains towards Daund. (I don't know if these stations have that much space for extension, but even a 3-4 PF terminal would solve many problems) Developing these two terminals, would have helped in Pune garnering more trains thus helping connectivity.

Utkarsh, I think they should atleast take a chance with Shivajinagar. Expand it, and make it a terminal. It can even be called Pune Central. As a terminal, Shivajinagar will be atleast as desirable as PUNE Jn

Useful
They had a chance, entire area was cordoned off to construct an Underground Metro Station and a new Bus Terminal at Shivaji Nagar. Maha Metro overseeing entire construction. They could've expanded Shivaji Nagar Station using that opportunity but they didn't now Shivaji Nagar Metro Station and Bus Terminal are almost complete, CR won't get a chance at expansion anyhow. Too much high priority Buildings surrounding that area, NABARD, Sancheti Hospital, Bank Of Maharashtra Head Office everything is there.
