They have not even restored the popular VSG MAS express which was short terminated at UBL post covid citing pitline constraints at VSG and now 2nd pitline as per SWR own RTI reply is commissioned at VSG but train not yet extended back to Vasco.
Yes, exactly we can't expect anything from then for Goa. Whole line from Tinai to Vasco should be annexed to KR, it's a similar type of terrain, that can even manage it better i presume.
There was a protest to halt the doubling project citing environmental reasons, which is quite genuine in my opinion. They are barely running 8-10 passenger trains in the route. Does it really require doubling? Again, there is no issue running freight traffic for SWR but they start acting stingy when it comes to running passenger trains.
