Just FYI, main VB is of 16C and Mini VB is half of the normal size of VB i.e. 8C..... and second thing, if it suits good then great for LJN/LKO to NDLS by scrapping the Tejas... but not that sure if ppl would accept that..... and IMO (I can be wrong so pls correct it), NDLS/NZM to GKP via MB LKO might be very tight unless that whole section has been upgraded to 130kmph... cause currently I see most of them is 110kmph and if that's the case then VB cannot cover in 8hrs or max 830hrs....
The Tejas does via CNB, I think. It already has equivalent, if not higher fares, than the Swarna Shatabdi, so I doubt people will protest against "upgradation". The overnight trains like Lucknow Mail and Lucknow AC go via BE-MB. Amongst day trains, only Lucknow Jn-ANVT Double Decker does via MB.
A VB won't run via MB. That route is slower, despite being twenty kms shorter. It will take the exact route as the Shatabdi/Tejas takes, via Kanpur Central.

So in that case, if hypothetically VB is to run for this route, then I'd prefer starting either from NZM or ANVT and heading to LKO, JUST to clear the traffic in NDLS cause I've seen and heard from other RFans that it's literally jam-packed at NDLS.... and infact I've faced difficulties in trying to make IMGs to and fro NDLS..... hard to find a good time to depart or arrive.... 😑😑😑
They will make it ANVT then since it's the terminal for east bound trains, more or less. NZM usually serves south bound trains. And logically, DEE serves west bound trains [though exceptions exist in all cases].
To summarize from all blogs, we just need to wait and see and also hope for some decent routes for VB to be launched in the upcoming days... and also in general, IMO, till June 2nd week before the inaugural of those 5 routes, almost all routes (mostly all) have been good routes... like NDLS to SVDK or BSB, MMCT to GNC, SC VSKP or TPTY, TVC KGQ... few have had small hiccups but were able to pull up and go with good occupancy.... but after June 3rd week, I can only see to some extent PNBE RNC doing some okay-ish occupancy.... but others r little on the less avg category... Of course it just started and I am not allowed to conclude that it's bad but something can be worked on these VBs.... IMO....
