So now if a family of 5 members book a ticket in MYS-BSB express from SBC but they are closer to YPR(which is 6kms away but in city limits) and board the train from there now travel time is 20mins as per schedule, now a passenger with RAC comes and asks TTE for seat and this 5 seats will be vacant, so will he be assigning the seats to that RAC person.

It's not seems feasible, it's a click bit type news. As TTE has to check ticket in minimum 3-4 coaches how he will check for all persons in 10 minutes. 72 X 4 = 288 persons, if we assume only 50% of this capacity can TTE will check 144 persons ticket in 10 minutes. If TTE will take only 10 seconds to a person then he will take 24 minutes for 144 persons. How is this can happen?
I'm speaking as per mentioned in news bcs they say in 10mins it gets automatic cancelled digitally, hence I've mentioned the above scenario.
Yeah, absolutely fine. I am agree with your words. You are speaking with the point of passenger and I am speaking with the point of TTE. You and I say same thing but with different perspective and scenario.
stupid decision if they are implementing it... they should wait atleast till the next station...
