Well, this is often a subject of confusion among Timeline Monitors / other non-monitors who update Timelines. So I decided to cover this topic.
For example, a station has 4 PFs (PF 1, 2, 3 & 4). For this station, a train arrives in fixed platforms 1 & 2, but not in PF 3 & 4. However this train is known to arrive more frequently in PF 2 (say 60% chance) than in PF 1 (say 40% chance). So how should the Station Platform update for this train be made?

I am considering a scenario where only PF 1 & 2 are fixed & there is less than 0.5 chance that it arrives in the other 2 PFs. So in this case, I am ruling out PF 3 & 4.
However among fixed PFs 1 & 2, it arrives 60% of the times in PF 2 & 40% of the times in PF 1.
So kindly choose & cast your vote on which option suits you the best sir.
