Manaknagar is the first station lying on the LKO-CNB line. It is a inner city station that sees some traffic but not enough to justify stoppages of express trains; hence only passengers stop here.

The route is slightly curved at the station and the entrance isn't too grand either. The lines to LKO and LJN cut some time after this station.
