Can someone explain how these 'Vande Sadharan' trains will be different than existing trains? Will they run/accelerate faster and/or run like current VB train sets do? I have absolutely no idea about watt they are.
Vande Sadharan trains are semi MEMU trains with modified WAP 5 engine on both sides with minor modification of electrical systems of LHB coaches capable of 130kmph and the train forms a trainet of 20 coaches and 2 engines in push pull mode. Going Forward this may be the standard format for future mail and express trains.
