finally my Favourite train 22159 will get LHB Coaches from February 23. im very excited about this news, although due to rake standardization im a bit disappointed but overall im VERY Excited.

Edit as of 25/12/2023: Apparently CC was changed to 1 SLR, 1 EOG, 2 GS, 2 SL, 8 3E, 2 2A = 16 Coaches.

Just one question as all are saying reduction in SL coaches leads to crowding in AC coaches but that argument dosen't appear to be true in trains travelling to UP/Bihar/WB, etc especially in trains travelled mostly by migrants coz even in trains with 10+ SL coaches overcrowding is a rampant issue. So it's mostly a situation where Railways don't want to control the crowd as officially by selling heavy WL tickets they can earn through cancellation charges and TTEs can extort money from WL passengers travelling in SL coaches.

did Railways had to waste budget on creating a new category called Vande Sadharan couldn't they have increased the production of existing LHB coaches and run Antyodaya/Janata exp trains ?

Thirdly Railways could have made 3E more affordable by pricing it 25 to 30% less than 3A that would have been a welcome move to make AC travel more affordable to the masses. Total failure on part of Indian Railways. AC travel is comparatively more secured compared to Non AC and AC coaches have higher speed potential too compared to Non AC
coaches so future upgrades would have been easier.

Fourth point subsidized rail travel for politicians, Railway employees, pilgrims, etc should be completely phased out except for PWD category and students travelling on educational tours.
