I think SECR CR WCR should try to run this VB train. It will become one of the fastest train between 1. JBP NGP 2. NGP AMI and 3. JBP AMI. It also reduces E2E and NGP JBP crowds of JBP AMI ONT. (as JBP itwari is tri weekly and doesnt connect to NGP for easy xfer). Kindly flag this must needed train. Stoppage pattern and other suggestions are welcome.
I think instead of VB an Intercity would be much more beneficial between JBP and NGP via NIR, G.
The overnight JBP-AMI SF also doesn't get good AC patronage regularly then high fare VB would become a financial burden in this route.

JBP Chandrapur ICE is there in front i thought VB could be better. I dont have much deeper knowledge on those areas. I usually heard and saw when i visited there r lot of omni busses between jabalpur and nagpur as road is much faster and shorter than train in that route people usually prefering it. So I thought might be Itwari termination and slow time table of ONT make it struggling.( Some experts here might shed the light on those real reasons. ) so if some fast and competing train in that route connecting noon trains when connectivity is less it can be much successful as this VB TT connects GT TN AP SBC raj in both directions making this as fastest xfer between JBP G to south capitals.
JBP-CAF doesn't go through Nagpur. It doesn't connect to Nagpur at all. There is no dedicated day train between JBP and NGP other than newly introduced Shahdol-Nagpur Express which is taking a lot of time.
But the point is that an overnight service is always considered as the best service due to convinient timing and day light saving and since the dedicated overnight train is not getting proper AC patronage then there are very little chance that a costly VB will get any patronage in this section.
