Coimbatore to pollachi new train confirmed via using of chemmozil rakes.Railway board approved.
Mayiladuthurai to Thanjavur will be extended to Palani and beyond coimbatore maximum confirmed.

CNB-ALD already has many trains in it's kitty. Plus it'll take 1+ hour to cover the LKO-CNB section. It will benefit pax b/w AY-CNB or GKP-CNB but it'll just increase the travel time b/w GKP-ALD multi fold. End to end passengers will be discouraged.
