Would anybody seriously wish to travel in this train? I mean, with a destination reaching time of 2340 hrs and that too at ANVT; one can't even utilize the Delhi Metro even and will be stranded at the edges. What is this endless fetishization of Vande Bharat trains? Can't they just give a logical Mail/Express overnight train that caters to all kinds of passengers and if it goes late, which it will especially in January, people won't be stuck at 2 am at a station next to a bus terminal.

There won't be any replacements. These coaches will continue to run on existing Shat and Raj and new VBE will be started. Once the old trains fall out of favor, it will be phased out. This process is going to take at least 10-15 years. This is approximately the life of Rajdhani LHB coaches which were introduced in early 2000s. Tejas won't be phased out anytime soon. Tejas rakes are being produced.
Only a few Shatabdi trains have the Anubhuti class/K-1 , right? Earlier, Lucknow Shatabdi used to have 2 Executive Chair Cars but now 1 Executive and 1 Anubhuti. I think they just introduced Anubhuti to take more money from last minute pax :p.

I just wish to travel in Executive class of a VB to see how luxurious it feels after ~8 hours vis a vis 2nd AC. I assume prices will be comparable on similar routes [1 A will trample on VB's luxury any day I assume]. Sitting travel makes a LOT OF SENSE if high speed trains like the TGV in France or Shinkansen in Japan or HSR in China work. It doesn't make sense when the route has speed limits of 110 kmph and all you get in name of food is standard packaged items or stuff that is barely edible.
