Raildrishti website used to give daily, monthly and yearly upto date, information on mail/express trainss, freight trains and passenger trains data. The data used to cover number of passengers travelled a day before, upto this date is this month, etc and also passenger revenue each class of passengers such as SL, 2S, 3A, 3E, 2A, CC, 1A, EC, etc. also they used to give daily freight carried, material wise such as coal, cement, iron &Steel, etc. This also on daily, monthly, weekly, year to date both in tonnes and revenue in Rupees crores.

railways discontinued this website in mid December 2023 and has not restored till date. The statistics used to give lot of data on railways operations both revenue side and expenses side.

I think the government thought that too much data is provided or there is some rethinking in ministry level.

Is this website data is permanently taken off from public or is there any revamp of data formats?

One need to wonder why Indian Railways suddenly stopped sharing this data.
