Mishra arrived at Jharsuguda at 6:30 AM on Friday on his inspection special train from Shalimar station. He began his inspection at 8:30 AM, covering Jharsuguda railway station, yard, and other areas. He also inspected the new rail overbridge under construction at Jharsuguda station. Afterward, he inspected the IB station and the station's panel room. During his inspection, he identified shortcomings and instructed the concerned officials to rectify them. Later in the evening, he conducted a window trailing inspection of the third line from Jharsuguda to Rourkela.
