There should be increase in number of Passenger Platform of the Sivasagar Town (SRTN) Railway Station under Tinsukia division is needed To Be Increased with FOBs. As Many Long Distance Train Arrive and Depart It will help Passengers to board and Deboard it also Lacks Coach Indicators which is needed and Will Help Passengers Who Take Long Distance Trains in Evening which will be Helpful to Kids, Women Passengers and Elderly Passengers. Please Help.

Existing PF length was 200 m and its length has been increased to 200 more m in DBRG end and further increment of 150 m length is in progress towards Simaluguri end which will be completed by March 2024. Further there is no crossing of any trains at SRTN due to presence of SLGR junction and MRHT station where crossings takes place. Due to curvature of 4.5 degree at SRTN, PF construction in other side is not feasible. Now the PF length at SRTN will be 550 m which is feasible for any kind for train for boarding or detraining.

The existing platform length was 200 meters, and it has been increased by 200 more meters towards DBRG end. There is an ongoing progress to increase it by an additional 150 meters towards Simaluguri end, which will be completed by March 2024. There are no train crossings at SRTN due to SLGR junction and MRHT station where crossings occur. Due to a curvature of 4.5 degrees at SRTN, it's not feasible to construct platforms on the other side. Now the platform length at SRTN will be 550 meters which is feasible for any kind of train boarding or detraining.
